MYO Character Creation Guide
MYO (Make Your Own) slot - a slot or voucher that allows members of the closed species to create their own character within said species.
In our species you can first obtain a free Common MYO from the shop and other types or more of them through raffles / events, sales, trades with members or gifts!
Using a MYO slot, you can only create a character with the set rarity of the slot and with no traits above said rarity, but can use any traits below said rarity. Example: Using Ultra Rare MYO slot, you cannot use any Legendary traits or get legendary subtypes, but can use traits with rarity below Ultra Rare (Rare, Uncommon and Common traits).
MYO TRAIT limitations
We have a system of the trait amount limitation for MYO slots. This is made, so people will make a balanced character and will make choices wisely when choosing which traits to use.
To find information about limitations for each slot, you can check the MYO item descriptions, sorting by MYO slots or in the shop, clicking on the desired MYO.
Additional / specific traits for the Legendary subtypes and item traits do not count to the trait amount limitation. Only basic traits count in the MYO traits limitation. After character creation, you can add more basic traits using special items.
The only one slot that has no limitations at all is a Restricted MYO, but it's available only if being gifted to you by the owners of the species. These MYO slots are account bound, so you can not sell / trade / gift them.
How to use a MYO slot
If you are registered on the site and have a slot item in your inventory, click on it and use it to activate a slot. If you had a slot before creation of the account on the site, you need to contact admins for it to be added on the account.
After activation of the slot, you will see it in the MYO masterlist or in your profile in MYO slots on the sidebar.
To submit your MYO slot, you need to:
- Click "Submit MYO design" on the sidebar of the slot.
- Click "Create Request".
- Fill the "Comments" tab with a brief comment about your inspiration for the design, if it was inspired by something. If it wasn't, you can just left it blank. (Click save afterwards to confirm changes)
- Click "Masterlist Image" tab to upload an image that will be used for the ML and with credits to the designer and artist. The image should be your character with all features visible, without clothing and with transparency for background. (Click save afterwards to confirm changes)
- If you want to use any items for your character, fill the "Add-ons" tab with items from your inventory to add them to your character for additional traits (item traits should add automatically, but if something will not work, you can add the desired trait manually) (Automatic assignment of traits doesn't work for Mutagens, so you will need to add basic traits yourself if you want to use a Mutagen, but you still need to add it in the Add-ons tab!). (Click save afterwards to confirm changes)
- Fill the "Traits" tab with the subtype and desired traits. Do not forget about the slot limitations. (Click save afterwards to confirm changes)
- When everything lights up green, return to "Status" tab and click "Submit Request" to send it for approval.
If you close the page with your approval request, you can always return to your draft through the "Design Approvals" tab!
Character approval
Character approval may take some time since it's a manual work and can be rejected or sent back to you for changes. If this happens, we will notify about what should be changed or added. If approval takes too long, please contact AmIYourHiro on discord.
